We live near Tours in the Loire Valley (220 km south-west of Paris).
Tours and its surrounding area are famous for royal castles, the Loire river, writers and poets such as Ronsard, Rabelais, Balzac, its wines and other delicacies including goat cheese, rillettes, pork scratchings and Tours nougat.
Charmed by so many attractive features, we settled in Saint Cyr sur Loire, a small residential town overlooking the Loire and bordering the city of Tours. Our house is modern, with generous living spaces and large windows to let in the light and the sunshine. A true haven of peace, just a few minutes from Tours city centre, our house is nestled at the bottom of a lane, surrounded by gardens. (see on google maps)
Tours city centre is easily accessible by bus (20 minutes) or on foot (30 minutes)
We can offer a large, beautiful sunlit room of 20 square meter (garden view), with a double bed, a large closet and desk (with Wi-Fi access) and an private bathroom (shower and sink) upon request.
